Healthcare sharing isn’t new, but we’re redefining it. Impact is not insurance. It's an alternative community approach where each member contributes a monthly amount, and when someone in the community has an eligible medical need, funds are shared through our technology platform.

Annual Household Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA)

The Annual Household Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) is the total each household must pay annually toward eligible medical bills before additional expenses become eligible for sharing with the member community. Members under 65 can choose from four options to find the best fit for your needs and budget. The annual household PRA can only be met with eligible bills and through the Wellness Rewards program.

Impact’s exclusive Wellness Rewards program helps you reduce your annual PRA by making healthy choices. Members can earn up to $150 per month, per household, by uploading receipts for things like gym memberships, acupuncture, DPC memberships, supplements, and more. For example, tracking just 10 months of receipts could save you $1,500 on your annual PRA!

For members 65 and older, Impact’s Senior program offers an annual PRA of just $1,000 per person.

*Wellness Rewards is not available to members on the Senior program.

Co-Share

After your annual PRA is paid, eligible medical bills are then shared by the community at 90%. You’re responsible for the remaining 10%, called your co-share. The most you’ll pay in co-share per household each year is $5,000.

Co-share does not apply to the Senior program (members 65 and older).

Other Costs

Your Monthly Share Amount May Increase Under the Following Circumstances:

BMI Assessment Qualification—If any enrolled member qualifies, there will be an additional fee of $125 per month.
Tobacco or Vaping Usage—If any enrolled members regularly use tobacco or vape products, they will be required to pay a $50 monthly Tobacco Assessment fee.

Impact for Seniors 65+

For Seniors 65 and older, Impact works alongside Medicare Parts A & B to help fill the gaps that Medicare allows but does not fully pay.

Members enrolled in the Senior program get:

Eligible sharing by the community in costs Medicare allows but does not fully pay (after the $1,000 annual PRA is paid)
Freedom to keep your trusted providers—no network restrictions
No pre-existing condition limitations
No provider fees and no co-share once your annual PRA is paid
